Bella once believed leadership was a throne—a position where the “boss” was served by everyone else. It was the only model she had ever seen. But everything shifted during her LeadToday classes when she encountered the story of David. She realized that leadership isn’t a status; it’s a proactive choice.
“I realized that as leaders, we do not have to wait,” Bella says. “Good leaders take initiative.”
Armed with this new philosophy of servant-leadership, Bella stopped waiting for permission and started creating opportunities:
The Online Cohort: She independently coordinated a digital Catalyze group, mentored them through the curriculum, and recently celebrated their graduation.
Campus Impact: She leads a weekly Bible Study cell where she prioritizes self-discipline over her emotions, leading with a steady hand and a servant’s heart.
The transformation in Bella has sparked a fire in others. Her peers (ages 16–25) have blossomed from quiet observers into confident contributors who share freely. The ripple effect even reached Opio Timothy, a 24-year-old graduate of her program, who was so inspired that he joined the Online Facilitators network to train more youth.
Bella no longer waits to be served. Instead, she leads with integrity, praying that the leaders of her nation will one day follow that same path of service.
